DTG (Direct-to-Garment)

Advantages:

Cons:

1. Dark fabrics consume more white ink: The performance of DTG printing on dark fabrics is limited, and the color brightness may be affected. But if you first print a layer of white ink, and then print other colors, the color performance is very good.

2. High cost: Due to the use of high-performance digital printers and professional inks, the ink cost of DTG printing is relatively high.

DTF (Direct-to-Film)

Advantages:

1. Suitable for dark fabrics: DTF technology can achieve better color performance on dark fabrics because it uses a white substrate film.

2. Suitable for more kinds of fibers: DTF printing technology is suitable for more kinds of fabrics, including pure cotton, polyester, nylon and other man-made fibers.

3. High production efficiency: DTF technology has high production efficiency and high yield, which is suitable for small and medium-sized batch production.

Cons:

Complex printer: DTF technology requires the use of special thermal transfer printers and inks, and needs to be configured with powder shaking machines and press presses, which increases the cost
